Where it comes from
Few places on Earth make green propolis. Ours is on the Tropic of Capricorn.
Green propolis comes from the resin of one shrub, Baccharis dracunculifolia. Bees only produce it where that plant grows — a handful of regions in South America, and nowhere else in the world. Our apiaries sit on the 23rd parallel south, in the plant's native range. Red propolis comes from a different plant, in the coastal mangroves of the Northeast. And the extract is your choice: alcohol-free glycolic, or the classic alcohol tincture.
Two plants, two propolis
The resin is only as special as the plant it comes from.
Bees don't make propolis from nothing. They collect resin from specific plants — and these two are why Brazilian propolis is different.

Science behind the propolis
Three bioactive groups behind the science
- Artepillin C
- The signature prenylated phenolic of Brazilian green propolis. Well absorbed after ingestion, it supports the body's antioxidant defenses and a healthy immune response.
- Flavonoids
- Galangin, chrysin and pinocembrin, plus the isoflavonoids formononetin and vestitol found in red propolis. They help the body manage oxidative stress and support a healthy inflammatory response.
- Phenolic Compounds
- Caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid and CAPE, the most abundant polyphenols in propolis. They help neutralize free radicals and support your body's own antioxidant enzymes.
